The Spanglish Voces platform was created with the intention of honoring a culture that embraces
dualism and resistance, championing the right to break free from any constraints or imaginary
mental boundaries. It celebrates a hybrid culture that thrives within the rich interplay of two
distinct languages, embodying an almost urban essence that rightfully pays tribute to the
countless hidden figures from history who fiercely resisted cultural assimilation and tradition,
ultimately forging a unique and distinctive identity.
This platform was established to provide support to aspiring writers, poets, actors, as well as
visual and musical artists. It serves as a space that equips these individuals with the necessary
tools, a platform for their voices to resonate, and invaluable guidance on utilizing their art as a
means to build a sense of community. Our core mission revolves around offering a platform for
